I'm new at blogging in case you couldn't tell. As the blog's title suggests, I'm a Christian mom and wife. I do not work outside of the home- that's my choice. My sons are 11 and 9. They are as different as night and day. I have been married for 12 years. My husband, Steven, has been diagnosed with ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease, for a year. It is a terminal illness. Google it. It's scary. But we try to take each day as they come and trust that God is doing things that we can't even begin to imagine. I am ridiculously blessed to have him as my husband. He's funny, handsome, forgiving, interesting, and the best part of us.
Nathan, my 11 year old, is pretty cool. He's crazy talented as an artist. He's into video games and we share a love of music. He's been told by many that he's just like his mom. I cringe, while at the same time smiling.
Brandon, my 9 year old, is JUST LIKE HIS DAD! We even call him mini-Steve. He's super funny, gentle, loves Hulk Hogan, and has more common sense than most adults these days. He fancies himself a comedian.
My life is pretty much about them. It's not always been that way. More on that later.
